I thought that I responded earlier -- but cannot find the rest of the thread. Ken, Generally, this would be caused by a secondary index that accesses the primary file via a subroutine. You can verify the file (in Unix) by using ls -i |grep 610205 or find . -ls |grep 610205 Group WR locks
