AFAIK, it is Dynamo which is able to convert a SIMPLE app. I did test Dynamo a few years ago, and it looks a bit like SIMPLE, just way more advanced :-) Claus Derlien edb-afdelingen direkte : 63 13 86 69 email : [EMAIL PROTECTED] -Original Message- From: Richard A. Perhaps scaleable was not the best word to use. There were some issues installing SIMPLE on our latest release of Universe. We got SIMPLE installed and it is working smoothly. However, management now worries about the operability of SIMPLE on newer releases of Universe. I feel the worries are unfounded but have nonetheless been asked to check into other options. [EMAIL PROTECTED] 05/10/04 11:20PM How scaleable do you want ? Not completely unfounded. I don't think Simple is a supported product. No, Ken had another application generator that Prime marketed I Believe was called Escape. OK - having a problem here... I loaded and am running UniData. Later, I loaded UniVerse on the same box. All working great... HOWEVER, I decided I needed to mave UniVerse to a different directory (and am now sorry I did so!!) so I uninstalled UniVerse. Reinstalled UniVerse. Now, UniData cannot be accessed via UniAdmin as it complains there is no RPC Connectino for it... It appears the UniVerse UnInstall nuked the UniData RPC. UniVerse is fine...
