I don't get it. I thought you were looking for a method to not have to install software on the outside user's computer. Do these software suggestions install on the server there by allowing the outside user to only have to have a web browser, i.e.: Internet Explorer, on their computer? BobW

It's done as a java application from the users computer through the browser. Your still loading things onto the users computer, but, it's from a controlled url. No need to visit the desktop, but you will have to make sure the firewalls and such will allow the telnet/ssh session to come through.
