If the uvconfig parameter ALLOWNFS is set you yes you can do this, however there will be no support for record locking. If you need record locking then you will want to get UVNet which is a separately chargeable product. Thanks for info, I was hoping for a different answer though. I have an application where the check nbr and the account number need to be both encrypted and indexed.
