I have had contact with IBM Education, and they are interested in running a
class, suggesting March.
Because of Mike's budgetary constraints, July seems the best time. So I
bounced that back to them, and am awaiting developments.
Location is to be Auckland.

As noted, you do NOT need to undertake official IBM classes to become
certified. It is based wholly and solely upon getting a pass mark in the
certification exam.
