Not sure what you're running but on Universe you could use VLIST or do
MAKE.MAP.FILE and then look at field 12 of MAP for your catalogued
subroutine.
Don't know of a way to do it real-time as such. Presumably you want to
stop program A failing when calling program B with incorrect argument?

If an in-correct number of arguments are used when calling a routine a
run-time error occurs, however does anyone know of a way to retrieve the
number of arguments that are required by a program/subroutine from its
object code?
