If you think 64 characters is too long, you're thinking about passwords incorrectly. Mary.had.a.little.lamb.l2ittle.lamb.little.lamb That's not 64 or more characters, but that's the type of password you should be using if not able to to use random characters via a password manager. If you hit enter after entering the password instead of clicking the button it doesn't run the validation rules.
