[Ubuntu] Bionic updates

2019-07-16 Thread Angelos Tzotsos

Hi all,

As a result of the OSGeoLive development, there is a list of updates in
experimental for Bionic:

GEOS 1.7.1
OGDI 4.1.0
GDAL 2.4.2
QGIS 3.4.9
MapServer 7.4.1
SAGA 7.3.0
libosmium 2.15.1
osgearth 2.10.2
OSSIM 2.7.2
OWSLib 0.18.0

I will wait for a day before pushing them to Unstable.

Cheers,
Angelos

And it's there because of the freeze in preparation of the buster stable
release.

I'd like to get it into buster, but that requires consent from the
release team who have not responded yet. [0]

For users who rely on features that are only fully functional in QGIS
2.x it might be better to stay at 2.18.28 even though it's EOL. But
getting rid of Qt4 & Python 2 is very desirable too.

Yeah, they are quite slow. Actually digging a bit, I see
experimental support

However might take some time to migrate our CI onto it, so if the
