Ubuntu Mate huge bug

Hello, there is a huge bug in Ubuntu Mate 21.04. When my friend Libor logged in, it said to him Ubuntu installer as superuser and nothing more. He blindly clicked Try Ubuntu, but any sudo apps don't work. There are problems with Caja or Gparted for example. Can someone repair it? Ubuntu 21.04
