I have asked this question before but I have lost the answer. On
updating the update manager complains that the /bot directory does not
have sufficient space. The suggestd command ( sudo apt-get clear) does
nothing. How do I clear space in this directory?
Thanks in advance

to use a usb kvm. This works perfectly with the
windows box but for some reason the linusx box does not recognise the
monitor using the usb kvm. Is there any way to set the linux box
permanently default to my monitor which is a Dell LCD with a resolution
of 1920 x 1080?

Can you copy the actual error message for us? Sometimes that gives a
clue as to what is the actual issue
could see it form the ubuntu box, but following the
upgrade to 10.04 I started getting the CUPS error.
How can I fix it so that I can use the kyocera as a usb printer on the
ubuntu box?

By the way what is the obsession with Bug 1? Linux will only replace
Windows if it is easy to use. Complex new interfaces will be counter
productive.

I have a photo which I wish to edit so that flaws can be painted over
with the same colour as the surrounding area. Is this possible using
GIMP, i.e. can I select the colour of the surrounding area from the
photo and use this as the colour in a brush to cover the flaw?

The version of Pando available for linux is outdated and does not work
with the current release. I had to use my windows box to get the data.
