mga driver can detect the 1024x768 resolution correctly - this seems to
be a DDC detection problem, not a driver issue.

After switching to Glider theme, the full field is drawn in red.
Note that the color change according to the field : it is red (#FF)

Our cdrecord packages should be using /dev/scd* instead of /dev/sg*. It

and not a lot to do with passwd at all. pam_chauthtok calls the password
module first with PAM_PRELIM_CHECK set to find out whether it's allowed

gnome-volume-control listens to what ALSA tells it can be twiddled.
Obviously, the ALSA driver has gotten more variables which you can
set. If you find them unsightly, you can remove them using the
Edit Properties menu.

reported the problem too use ATI graphics cards, though.

This is fixed in edgy and it looks like my upload to dapper-updates
directly got to /dev/null.
Any chance this is uploaded to dapper-updates anytime soon? I'm
migrating a new server to ubuntu and this blocks the retirement of my
old one...

Tried to remove python and got this error:

The relevant PAM modules don't support this, do they? In fact, I didn't
think PAM supported this at all. That would mean hacking a lot of LDAP-
specific code into chfn.
