However I can get most of the keys working (like the arrow keys, Home,
End, etc.) if I set
Option XkbModel evdev
instead of abnt2.
But there is at least one dead key, the key associated to the slash and the
question mark. Other keys are mapped to the
well, because this became a big issue for me and my users i googled a
lot and finally got this solved...
the segfault issue was caused by a previos mod to hald.conf trying to
solve the original issue, after comparing between the bad an sane system
i've managed to found the problem

courier cert for TLS authentication. Worth noting that even after

My R50 also does it, has an ATI radeon 9000, IBM model number 1836-3UU.
I also happen to have crytoroot and crypted swap, have only tried
suspend to ram, not hibernate as I assume crypted swap wouldn't work
anyway.

Japanese input doesn't work even after running the Language Support script.
I have done an install in English, set keyboard to Japanese, and run the
Language Support, which installs fine.
However, I cannot input Japanese characters in any programs
I have also tried to play
why has this been marked Fix Released? I still have the issue with the
latest packages.
And I am not the only one, just quoting from two comments above:
I installed the edgy beta release, and the fonts in the menus and
inside of firefox are still fuzzy and the antialiasation is still
different
1.2.4.1-1 in edgy works for me now.

Whether or not a self compiled ndiswrapper works isn't really my
interest. Does the one that comes with our kernel work? If it doesn't, I
can work on that. If it does, and the self compiled one doesn't, I'm not
sure I can do anything to fix that.

I've looked into the source code of metacity and could find the crucial
lines. I've atteched a diff. This is my very first patch, so please
forgive me if there's anything wrong with it.
The problem did not only occur when dragging horizontally starting on

Just so everyone understands what's going on. The problem is fixed. Our
kernel now supports this. However, it seems that certain CD image types
(desktop that I know of) doesn't contain the jmicron driver. I've
already filed a bug on this and marked it for ubuntu-6.10 release
milestone. Hopefully
