May seem small but it's annoying having this error pop up everytime I

I reinstalled Kubuntu and I still have the same problem. Note I didn't

kpilot did not sync with Palm TX and net:any. The syncing is working as

not doing the actual hibernation. After running this script the consoles are

packets from edgy but the situation is similar with ati driver 8.28.8.
My card is a Sapphire ATI 9100 with 64 MB memory.

OK, more info on this bug, the real problem is far more subtile.
Grub tries to boot from the wrong partition, but doesn't give the error I'm
used to, might be due to the initram.
menu.lst contains /dev/hda1 as the boot-device, but /dev/hda is the CD-ROM.
After changing this, I noticed that /

I've experimented with all the BIOS settings but they made no
difference. However booting is possible with pci=off (or pci=conf2,
seems to have the same effect), although the machine is not in a
terribly useful state that way (no network, slow disk I/O etc).

main menu, although by superficial inspection there seemed to be a file
in /usr/share/menu.

Suspend to disk and power down after shutdown didn't work any longer
after upgrading from dapper to edgy.
Workaround:
Insert acpi=force into kernel parameters of grub/menu.lst to get the previous
behaviour.
Versions:
Is this still a problem with the final release of Dapper or with Edgy?
If yes, can you please attach:
* the output of 'dmesg'
* /etc/X11/xorg.conf
* lspci -vv
* lspci -vvn
