AFAIK, the fedora-patches (which should provide fontconfig-support)
aren't applied in ubuntu. Simply hardcoding other settings wouldn't fix
the issue. Only full fontconfig-support would be a solution for every
setup possible.

putting the new config file in /opt/ltsp/i386 works, but oddly.
If I put in lts.conf
XF86CONFIG_FILE=filename
the file is still not found, but

I think I have found the cause: openntpd. The keyboard begins stuttering
in the exact moment that ntpd is stepping time because of a great
offset. Keyboard works if I disable ntpd and stops working if I start it

The problem seems to have gone away of its own volition (it wasn't even
soon after i did an upgrade, I just thought I'd try again), so I'm
closing this bug. Interestingly, sudo nvidia-glx-config enable did
nothing, telling me that the nvidia driver couldn't be found, but
changing my xorg.conf
Also, nobody else seems to be having this problem, that I can find, I
checked.

How do you get the bitrate of the resulting file? I can't reproduce your
problem here :/

The number that's reported in the screenshot has nothing to do with the
actual freespace on the partition. You probably guessed that, but you
mentioned that the number reported (175921... GiB) is 780,000 times your
drive. What I'm getting at is that the number, 17592186044416 is
