I'm pretty sure that in dapper, nautilus 2.14, when right-clicking on a
CD drive, I was offered to copy CD, which I could use to get an ISO
image of the CD/DVD. I upgraded my computer to edgy, and now in
Computer, if I right click my DVD or CD drives, there is no such
option

my system, but can't remember how I managed that.
This is my CPU, AFAICS it has HT support, but either I deactivated it in

sorry for multiple comments, damn links2 not showing my comments after i
posted them. Anyhow, I just uninstalled (apt-get remove at-spi) and it
got rid of a few other packages but after you remove it you can login
and use your desktop. (guess the at_spi stuff is for disabled people).

I have same exact problem after upgrading a thinkpad X32 to edgy:
'The application nautilus has quit unexpectedly.'
This pops up continuously. Bug buddy was not too helpful in sending out a bug.
I tried what you suggested above, the output is pasted below. It is a very
annoying error.

Once a 1.4 client has touched a checked out directory, it's no longer possible
for older clients to use it.
Since I use a 1.4 client from another machine i can no longer use the 1.3 tools
to update, commit, etc.
