I agree, but not wholy.. I like the way icons are unified in a way, with
similar shapes, but still distinction between them in a way.. However, I
think it also has something to do with the placement of the emblems, the
way you perceive the image as a whole..

I actually still suffer from this problem, not only with Ubuntu but also with
Fedora(and Enterprise), SUSE, Debian, etc.
Information is loaded from the CD and then it can't detect both devices.
The only active system now is windows so can't do any analysis on the
problem.

The /usr/lib/mime/packages/rhythmbox file is part of the Ubuntu patch, so this
is not an upstream bug.
It is a very simple bug, only one line in that file needs to be removed.

It turned out to be a bug in my code after all, which I couldn't find at
first with valgrind (it generates so many false alarms I can never find
the real bugs among them), but it turned up with MALLOC_CHECK_ and some
experimentation.
Sorry for the bogus report. I can't seem to find a way to close
I'm all in favor of placing the emblems on folders, they take less space
this way. In fact they used to do this in Breezy but changed it in
Dapper.
But my main concern is still shape and color of emblems.

The installation of clvm works now in both dapper-proposed and edgy-
proposed.
It also did not appear to cause any regressions, even after reboot.
This is ready to be uploaded to -updates on the 30th.

When making a H323 connection from Ekiga to e.g. OpenMCU server, Ekiga
crashes, displaying a dialog with Jitter thread did not terminate
correctly.

Since I switched to feisty, the boot process get stuck, and don't boot.
I'm obliged to use the kernel linux-image-2.6.17-10-generic

Just got the Logitech Black Internet keyboard (Y-ST39) from work. All
except one hotkeys were detected and bound to the right function.
Available functions: Search, Files, E-mail, WWW, Mure, Volume -, Volume
+
Files did not work.
Solution:
1. Open a terminal. Type:
tail -f /var/log/messages
3. Add this on the second line of /etc/init.d/hotkey-setup (unde the shebang
#!/bin/bash):
set -xv
You can remove the set -xv after your key is working.

Just tried on an AMD64 box (2GHz CPU), the same, somewhat smaller CPU
usage, but 10% is far more than it should be , I think (and it's now
only a 128kbit/s mp3 file). Since both the i386 - I've reported the bug
from - and this machine is installed by me, I'm thinking about if it's
my fault ...
