I think I have figured out what the issue is.
Firefox crashes only when Flash plugin ver. 8 in installed. I removed
ver. 8 and tried installing ver 9.0 of flash and everything is working
perfectly fine since then.

I have just upgraded my system to feisty and it can not boot on the new kernel.
My old kernels are still fine.
After some checking, it looks like the mdadm script into the initramfs are not
functionnal.
By adding the break=mount kernel
This was planned for Edgy and will perhaps come with Feisty. Michael
Vogt implemented this at apt level. Along with support for automatically
removing former and now obsolete dependencies of removed packages.

In fact, with k3b it actually _is_ possible to burn DVDs. The bug I
encountered in k3b happens when you want to copy (clone) a DVD and you
select the button for copying a CD from the main screen. Choosing Copy
DVD from the menu works.
