Debian has sunbird on the repositories, why Ubuntu don't have it? The
last version is 0.3, and Debian has 0.2.99+0.3alpha1-3, so a sync
shouldn't be the best option.

I've the same problem and was partially solved recreating swap partition
and changing fstab + /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume
I'm able to hibernate when Ubuntu is at GDM login screen but if I try to
hibernate when gnome is active (session initiated) the hibernation fail,
never resume, recovered

Ok, playbin is adding videoscale, not totem. And playbin just uses the
default mode of videoscale, i.e. nearest neighbour.

interrupt handling on edgy+ with some computers that prevents it from

Works fine after starting the computer, but sometimes simply crashes (see
attachment).
Restarting it on the terminal throws following error message:

My system freezes randomly, I thought it was a hardware issue, but Windows XP
work perfectly. After Edgy freezes, my PS/2 keyboard, Graphic card and USB
mouse are still working, but my HDD stop and HDD's light is on permanently. I

Thanks, It may also be related to bad hardware, I was trying to install it
on a SATA hard drive and got the error, but when I removed the SATA
controller and just tried installing it to the ide hard drive it seems to
work. The machine I'm installing it seems to be a bit flakey.

I utilize a USB Wireless Keyboard (Logitech Wireless Access) & Mouse
(Logitech Mx700) on one Edgy system and don't see this problem. On my
other system I use just plain cheap USB Keyboard (Nextech USB Keyboard)
and Mouse (Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000). It works fine with a
Dapper, Edgy, Feis
That scanner requires proprietary firmware in order to work, which is
why it doesn't work out of the box. On the positive side, once you do
set it up, it is 100% functional. See
