The problem also desappears if I deactivate usplash and if I erase 'splash'
boot option in kernel. The problem is relationed with graphic driver and splash
screen.
My graphics card is Radeon 9250 and its optimal driver is "ati" or "radeon" on
xorg, and with both of them the problem occur.

The problem still exists using Kubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) Beta x86

BIOS time/CMOS time is set to local time ("Berlin/Germany"). After
booting the Desktop CD (the clock shows the correct local time) I
started the Installation, chose Berlin/Germany in "step 2 of 6" and re-
formatted the
installing 251-7 fixed it.

I installed firefox32 via a .deb file and tutorial located at
http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=1174435
All other browsers I have installed work fine, even before firefox32 was
fixed. Also, I still have ipv6 running on ubuntu, just disabled in firefox.

I think it's related to the partition itself more than with Ubuntu as nobody
else reported issues like this.
If you happen to see this problem again or have more information to give feel
free to reopen this bug.
Thank you for reporting
