After upgrade from Edgy occasionally got a CRC error message when booting (both
normal and restricted). Same with 2.6.20-12.
But sometimes after repeating with a same kernel I could manage to boot without
problem. Re-download/re-install wont fix.

Ok, I just tried the latest DVD image (May 31th). You are right the
video card is now detected properly, and the correct driver is used,
cool :-)
However the monitor still isn't detected properly (at all ie), in
xorg.conf it just reads Generic Monitor, so I can't use the resolution
and refresh
Got the same error, again, after updating. Purging and reinstalling seems to
fix it. Doesn't look like the package is able to be updated.

All DVB-T cards need a front end tuner (FET) to tune to the correct

If I choose USBAudio as the output it still plays in my speakers. I'm using the

Does it always crash?
Do you have the package gtk2-engines-gtk-qt installed? Could you remove it and
rename/remove all files in your home directory that start with .gtkrc? Does
this stop the theme manager from crashing?
What version of ubuntu and control-center do you use?

Can you attach the full dmesg output, including from when you inserted
and removed the sd card?
The full dmesg is necessary because in many cases the operation of other
devices may be important, and often the lack of expected output is
important too.

I'm currently running Timo's -intel deb on two machines and can verify:
1) vast stability improvement over current feisty version
2) regression on session logout: blank screen (possible incorrect pipe switch)
that's easily resolved by restarting the X server
