I would not use those steps. The 2 other solutions I remember from the
comp.protocols.time.ntp archive which allow you to run ntp with a

If you had linux-image-386 in breezy, dapper and edgy, then it also did
not have SMP enabled. At no point in Ubuntu's history has the -386 image
been SMP enabled. It used to be -686-smp and -k7-smp, but now it's just
the -generic that is SMP enabled.

As I said, when I run the nautilus-cd-burner without valgring, it
crashes and I receive I get a Bug Reporting Tool. But when I run it with
valgrind the program closes normally. I added again the traces I got
today.

The newer initramfs-tools package has resolved this issue for me.
Jose, your bug may be related to the bug in kernel 2.6.20-14.23. If so,
try updating to 2.6.20-15, which should fix it.

There is no /proc/acpi on my computer. Maybe it's a clue. When I do
'sudo shutdown -h' now or 'sudo halt' last message on terminal is
'System halted' and when I push (not press for 4 seconds) the power
button
