Hi Luka. I've run the applet from the command line (/usr/share/python-
support/kde-guidance/guidance-power-manager.py) but it doesn't produce
any output to the console no matter what I do on the gui (change screen
brightness, cpu speed, the works). The only output I get after
plugging/unplugging:
Ubuntu detects its drive as /dev/sdb if the Debian drive is plugged in.
But I still wonder why it is detected resp. mounted as a SCSI device.
It's an IDE drive---no SCSI, no S-ATA ...

About the same thing is happening with my Saitek X45 HOTAS. When I
upgraded from Edgy to Feisty only 16 buttons are detected and the state
for button 1 stays on only if I press buttons 1 and 17 at the same time.

For me, on Feisty, Ekiga looks to /dev/raw1394 for Firewire cameras, not
/dev/dv1394/0 as Kino does. I had to change the permissions on

i have gigabyte motherboard based on intel 875p chipset

dri works fine on edgy
and agp cannot init on feisty (kernel 2.6.20.x xorg 7.2)
no matter what driver i use fglrx or radeon

I removed the old bind8 package so far. bind is scheduled for removal in
Debian as well, but still has reverse dependencies, so I'll keep this
open until it gets removed in Debian.
