Indeed. The banshee package is set to Conflict with banshee-official-
plugins, but this doesn't work correctly. I don't know why, but
apparently versioned Conflicts/Replaces can be a bit weird.

Okay, scratch this! It turns out that:
1) I had forgotten to turn the amplifier on for the 2nd system!
2) Despite what the manual says, these motherboards require jumpers to feed
line-out to the rear socket
3) The 1st system was missing these jumpers, the 2nd had them.

Reported upstream. This won't be fixed in the 1.2.x series, and it's not
sure whether it'll be fixed for 1.4.x
Setting as low since it affects just a few feeds, only when looking at

I can confirm the same problem with feisty on an Intel Xeon EMT64
server. Every time I log in I get put back to the log in page after
clicking anything. I have discovered that the suggestion in Bug #114044
fixes the issue for me, ie:

But I found a workaround:
As Superuser I typed:
rmmod sbp2
modprobe sbp2
This had no effect at all. Than I tried:
rmmod ohci1394
modprobe ohci1394
Suddenly my firewire disk was recognized and the gnome
volume manager happily created all the icons
I think I am wrong.
I will look at this, and try to fix this if the problem is related to ndisgtk.

The problem seems to be that we call ndiswrapper -e to remove drivers,
instead of ndiswrapper -r .
Will fix this tomorrow in ndisgtk upstream.

I have a (Club 3d) ATI Radeon 9250 PCI 128MB (in an old Dell Optiplex GX1 with
384MB so PCI was the only option). Am running feisty with
xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.6.3 installed.
Vesa driver works OK; ati driver gives a black sc

I can confirm this bug. It only happens if you do not choose one of the
items from the list of returned structures.
I recompiled from source to get the debugging information and found the
offending line. The program wasn't checking to see if the user had
chosen an item before using it.
