I have also confirmed now, that it occurs with either the Gnome or KDE

Hello,
I would like to note that after the last update, my cd-rom broke again
and it does not work. Whenever the cdrom is mapped to /dev/scd, it
simply does not work. Whenever it is mapped to /dev/hdc, it works. I
suppose that different modules are used access the cdrom each time.
Does anyone
I made the changes to to acpi-support and the computer started working
instantly, no reboot, in response to Eddie. I suggest future
distrubutions of xorg-driver-fglrx edit this file to correct the issue
automatically until the fglrx driver works correctly.

I found that there was no folder configured for sent and draft messages

NTFS filesystem because 3072 bytes from the beginning of the filesystem,
the signature string NTFS appeared, and this confused the blkid

I use Kubuntu/Feisty on a IBM T60 laptop with an external monitor (dual head).
After modifying the display config the System Setting - Monitor Display does
no longer work. It says:
The module Monitor Display could not be loaded
The output of
kcmshell displayconfig
I've just found a workaround for this: if you have any other window
open, just press Alt + Tab to switch there and then you get your mouse
back until you restore the Chromium window :)
