I have the opposite problem in Feisty. I have a USB device with multiple
partitions (CoolerMaster enclosure with NTFS/FAT32/NTFS partitions) and
I do actually want to Eject it. Right-clicking on one of them and

tracking the various code responsible for updating posbuf and your trace
has confirmed some of what I was expecting. There are several reasons
why posbuf/pos won't be updated so we should try eliminating
possibilities.

I can confirm that this is still a problem in Feisty.
Using a CoolerMaster USB-SATA device with ntfs, vfat and ntfs partitions
(yes, two ntfs) I'm given only an Eject option in Nautilus/Desktop (no
Unmount Volume option like I get for network shares). Selecting the
Eject option unmounts all three
This is still not fixed. On a fresh install of feisty, I still see the
following in syslog:

Guess your problem is not easy. First of all, add information about your
hardware (e.g. processor speed and Ram that may affect this problem) and your
software (e.g. version of Kubuntu installed). Have you some problem before
logging (usually boot time is less than a minute before kdm login)?
This bug has been causing immediate problems. The only reason I would consider
it major is because I can now count on two hands the number of developers who
have a less than great feeling about Ubuntu vs. other Linux distros that have a
working timout.
I would appreciate it going in sooner

I cleaned my ~/.lyx and started fresh.
I exported to .tex in Linux and in Windows and the results are the same
in terms of .tex file.
I noticed that the .pdf file that is created in the imagens directory (the .eps
logo converted to .pdf) had different file sizes. I opened the two files and
I am having the very same problem on an AMD 64 HP Pavilion laptop. It happens
very frequently to the point of not being able to use Firefox at all. Also,
using Firefox arbitrarily causes the CPU to scale to its fullest and this falls
back to normal after I close Firefox. I just installed

This happens to me on 64-bit too. When I do regular genius (not gnome-
genius) I do not have this problem when I type help. I ran gnome-genius
from my console and here is the backtrace:

The patch also works with gutsy-kernel. So why not integrate it? Nobody
