Sorry for so many posts, but I also wanted to note that this bug applies
to the Dell Inspiron E1505 as well, and probably many other Dell

I sent the build-dep fix to Debian,
Although Sarah Hobbs changed the affected module from linux-restricted-
modules-2.6.15 to linux-restricted-modules-2.6.12, I think that was not
correct since 2.6.12 is related to Breezy while my bug report is related
to Dapper. That is why I set the affected module back to linux-

1. I can confirm this problem with 'Open with Other Application... ' not
working with the Gimp

Kubuntu Gutsy 4 Alternative fails to install on a Dell Latitude C840
Laptop.
Have tried with two different cds, both of which verified, and one of which
installed as a Virtual Machine.
First cd failed with message:

[apport] zsh4 crashed with SIGSEGV in rawmemchr()
Same problem. All USB devices (mouse, external hard disk etc) are powered on
after system shutdown. Windows shutdown turns all USB devices off.
Motherboard: Epox on nForce4 chipset, Ubuntu 7.04 i386, kernel 2.6.20-16-generic
Hopefully this will be fixed in a timely fashion with a new Kernel...

Had same problem. Azureus Crashed after shutdown caused by battery problem.
Deleting Log files (in ~/.azureus/ ; ~/.azureus/logs ; ~/.azureus/logs/save)
worked.
