I looked at my apache2 config, and I'm not using mod_gzip, and there

Yes, the 2D performance is better with the NV driver. I have been using
the desktop now without desktop effects (they were disabled completely).
Once I enabled them, the system feels much more responsive, so I guess
is a bug in nvidia drivers when using only 2D. When it was on 2D

Note that by default, strigi also indexes ~/.strigi... that should be on
a exclude list.

Thanks for the comments! I do believe lintian complained about library-
version-does-not-match-soname or something like that, so I versioned it.
But I also don't believe there's any good reason to version it since it
isn't widely used. I will re-upload to REVU at some point today.
