What format are you adding your routes in? Can you please post the
routes to this bug report.
You can see the debug output in syslog, especially if you turn on

A work-around for me was to copy /usr/share/ubuntustudio-
menu/applications.menu into my .config/menus directory. Obviously this
won't work for non Ubuntustudio users, but copying
/etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu (attached) to ~/.configs/menus/ will do
the same job for standard Ubuntu.

Actually, the first attachment (xorg.conf) is after I changed the model
to 1680 LCD and tried to change it back to PNP (step 2 and 3), not step
1.

Yep, fixed for me also. The first two steps don't make any difference in
the brightness, but the other 7 (that's how many were there originally
on my inspiron 6400) work just fine! Thanks!

I finally got it to work. I've installed everything related to scim (apart from
scim_uim).
Once scim is launched (you have the icon) and if it does not work, try the
following. Open gedit and right click in the text area.
Click on Input method and change it to scim. Now the ctrl+space and left

I've been testing with Gutsy latest on these boards, and some moderately
good news is that with 2.6.22-12-generic, it seems to take much longer
for the machine to lockup. Using Feisty's 2.6.20 kernel, and the
aforementioned iperf test, it would hang almost instantly. With Gutsy,
it takes 30-60
Can confirm this for Gutsy.

Hi,
same issue here.
This is gutsy with latest updates and bcm43xx driver installed per
restricted-manager. (This went fairly well, to my surprise. I was happy since I
didn't have to use ndiswrapper.)
Unfortunately the lights are always on.
