Matthew East , may be the common point for people having the problem is
that their system has dist-upgraded multiple times to follow ubuntu
version since dapper as opposed to a fresh edgy system going to gutsy.
This is my case here since I've been dist-upgrading a few versions on

I have installed Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04, without any changes. Didn't
compile myself, etc... All default. Then using apt-get, installed xfce
on top of it. To avoid repeat bug, turned off acpid, and turned on apmd
in Xfce Menu-- System-- Services. Now repeat bug disappeared, but
battery applet

Computer B have selected to see printers shared (by ipp) but see nothing.
I attach cupsd.conf for the 2 printers.

A person on the xen-users list hinted about ntpd. I noticed it wasn't running
in the domU that hangs, so i enabled it there, hoping to see some improvement.
Anyone else running/not running ntpd here on domO and the domU's?

Xen guest suspend causes clock to stop
elinks_0.11.1-1.5ubuntu1_i386.deb -- no change.
Can I write patch for that? Or is someone working on it? Not that I'm
super-duper-l337 with C, but this seems to be trivial and elinks already
points out some errors in configuration, so I guess even I can provide
such patch.

That did not work. Even deleting the foldes and doing xdf-user-dirs-

I encountered the same problem after upgrading from 6.10 to 7.04 using the
Upgrade on Adept Manager. I tried tuning the monitor's own controls as you
mentioned, but the total visible area stays the same and the visible area
(although within my monitor's size), still doesn't show the full
