It's not fixed in the gutsy RC. I imagine it should qualify for an incremental update - rpmstrap currently just doesn't work if your /bin/sh is dash, which is the Ubuntu default since edgy. Changing the #! line to #!/bin/bash is pretty safe as the package would have been running with /bin/bash on
