After installing the updates today and booting into the 2.6.24-11-386
kernel I am seeing the hard freezes again. If I press the undock button
then an undock event is correctly generated (if I do a tail -f
/var/log/kern.log I can see it) but when I physically undock the machine
it hard freezes :(

Hardy kernel until I get confirmation from Sebastian, but against linux-

There was a bug in my workaround that resulted in broken USB. I
misspelled the ohci_hcd module name in the last modprobe command.
Replace the install-line I added to /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper with
this one:
install ndiswrapper modprobe -r ohci_hcd ssb; modprobe --ignore-install
ndiswrapper $CMDL

I used the 7.10 mini.iso and found that I could use my local apt mirror
(in my LAN). When you are given the screen to choose your mirror (based
on country) there is the custom option at the very top of the list.

Looks as though this bug has been re-introduced, or occurs infrequently.
Although disable menu shortcut key (F10) is selected the menu continues to show.
This problem appeared after an apt-manager upgrade from gutsy to hardy
alpha 5. AMD64

I have no sound at all. I assume this is after update in last couple of
days. Between hardy alpha5 and 6.
This is using an Maudio 2496 card that I've used with both gutsy and fiesty.
The strange part is that I get no errors and it looks like it is working, for
example I
start udevmonitor and capture output

when I search for the file udev.log the system comes back with no such
file.
