In that case it is a simple case of the Desktop version of kernel
(-generic) not being configured to handle more than 4Gb memory. You have
two options:
1. Use the precompiled -server kernel that is configured to use upto
64Gb of memory
OR
2.
Feel free to ack your own (from my perspective), but ack if you feel you
need it.

On reflection, I think this should come off the release-critical list
for Hardy (so Won't Fix for Hardy, but remains Triaged for mainline). My
reason here is that if we only change the keyboard layout on focus-out-
event then somebody who tabs to the test entry box and then immediately
starts
Not for Hardy at this point (so Won't Fix for Hardy but still Triaged
for mainline). I still think this will be a good idea to do, but it's
not critical for 8.04.

I can confirm that opensync-plugin-kdepim is now working correctly.
Opensync-plugin-google-calendar is now crashing however, but that is

Building and installing the module (1.4.6.dfsg1-2) works fine, I can see
the afs directory structure afterwards.
But I can't access any files in the afs, and dmesg gives me:

Hi Chris,
I have attached an old file called label-20050102-001.odg that shows
the difference. This file would not really be a terrible problem
because it still fit in the CD area, it just looks funny. I had some
labels that had 4 lines of text at the bottom and then it caused a
problem because
LSUSB log. (I hope this is related, i had to restart my computer because
of the WIFI problems, but i think this is a log I made relating to this.

Hello, ive been reading the thread, and i myself have a laptop with the
Realtek 8187 wireless adaptor. It gave me problems on Ubuntu Gutsy
Gibbon, last night i upgraded to Hardy Herring, and the problem improved

I have a sound problem with my ACER ASPIRE 8920G.

If I use sox to change a wav file's frequency like so :
sox -r 8000 input_22kHz.wav output_8kHz.wav
it only modifies the header, but the file is still the same size.

many other applications; Thunderbird and Evolution for example

Just completely froze again while trying to apply updates. I had to
remove the laptop battery for the machine to boot back up properly. May
