I removed the following line from ~/.kde/share/config/ksmserverrc which
appears to rectify the problem.

I found /usr/lib/libeel-2.so.2 redirecting to
/usr/lib/libeel-2.so.2.22.1, which seems to be correct, since dpkg shows

Thanks for the quick reply Richard. Just to be sure, I rm -rf'd my
.mozilla folder. The same thing happens. Just tried with 'gedit' and the
same behavior occurs.
Further troubleshooting finds that in System->Administration->Printing
on the 'Printer Options' tab of the printer, there is a 'Copies'

This prevents wink to be built. Debian Maintainer is currently working on this
issue, should be fixed with his next upload.
In the meantime, attached debdiff restore libexpat.so.0 until a proper fix is

I can confirm that this bug is now fixed. I had to reboot all the
clients with local devices; after doing so the icons went away. Thanks
