Will not play a simple music cd, mp3. Insert cd in ubuntu new install

Just wanted to update here ... I noticed that there is now 8.04.1 (at
least the Kubuntu version). Using that as the installation version, I
was able to get past this problem.

Hey there!
While trying to install 1:0.0.8-3 I realized that there was some
unresolved dependency: ocsinventoryagent is dependent on libproc-
daemon-perl.
After I installed this package the common update with package manager to
1:0.0.8-1 worked just fine!

The same situation like Juan Xavier described, except one thing: the bug
is not only in Human theme, but in Blue Glossy (not sure how it will
be English name of this) theme too. However bug triggered not very
often.
