I just had a thought from work I'd done with a product called Jaws PDF writer
for Windows..The font is not compatible - I changed the font from Times
to something non-Microsoft-ish, then saved and then exported again and the
inverted commas were there! Hooray!

In case someone does not want to wait (it annoyed me for sure), I took
the upstream patch and converted it to a debian patch to be added to
evolution-data-server-2.23.4/debian/patches. This fixes the problem if
libcamel1.2-12 is updated.

Apparently my xorg.conf doesn't have a section for extensions, so I
disabled compiz trough user preferences and tested if I could reproduce
the bug. Srolling trough the document on OpenOffice didn't cause any
anomalies, so I enabled compiz and tested again. This time I got

I think i found out, what the problem is in my case:
Running evolution in debugmode, using
env E2K_DEBUG=5 evolution evo.log
i was able to see, the request to the owa servers team-calendar is
performed using the following directory:
/exchange/teamboxname/Calendar
which is wrong, for we have
