I've got the same problem with Netgear USB dongle WG111v3. I couldn't
connect with WPA encryption in 2.6.24, but connected fine with 2.6.22
kernel. Someone on a Google-group found out a solution, which works for
me. He changed the nice value of wpa-supplicant-daemon to the lowest
possible 19.
I don't mind if they fix this in KDE 4. Just that this fix should also
be back-ported to KDE 3.5. I don't see me using KDE 4 soon (not until it
actually becomes stable, and usefull). Wonder if this bug has been
solved in Pidgin. It may be time to ditch Kopete if this is the case.

I'd say that this is a gnome-keyring issue. Usually you wont have to
enter your password after login to open the keyring. not sure if that is
broken for no-password logins. Please verify that this still exists in

beta.
When final HH was released I simply reinstalled the notebook from
scratch (to be sure this bug doesn't propagate through the update) and

Digging in the software-properties source package I finally found the
culprit (so to speak): python-apt still has a list of ftp.caliu.info
mirrors (both in Debian and Ubuntu) that should be replaced by the
ftp.caliu.cat counterparts. So, I downloaded the latest python-apt I

There's no core file, so I tried to attach the xorg process with gdb.

It looks like this problem is considered to be fixed because the Debian
bug report has been closed. But in Ubuntu Hardy the problem is still
there. I get the FATAL: ssgInit called without a valid OpenGL context
error message both on a machine with via graphic (openchrome driver) and
intel graphic

I did a quick test with hardy, and something is still not right. if i
boot with a cisco aironet 340, boot hangs for several minutes, the it
does eventually complete.
