I got further with solving the problem, it seems to work now.
Steps I did:
- make a vfat -F 16 onto the USB stick
- syslinux -sf /dev/sdx1 (sdx = USB stick)
- copy the contents of the alternate CD to the stick as close as possible,
including the hidden .disk directory

Rhytmbox isn't my favorite player, but I've checked it further and it
happens only on 2 lyrics, from same band so I think its more like web page

Ensure that you have a read-only image on a directory on your home (the
directory was not read only). A little lock appears on the image, but for
someone as my wife, that means nothing. Open the image with the default viewing

Yes, but the implication was that this was not a new problem, and that
it may have been the result of a concious policy decision rather than a

I'm not sure how to test this again, but I don't see a solution in this
thread that has been pushed upstream. I expect DST to throw off my time
again this fall, and again next spring. Sorry for not contributing much

The adept-notifier component has been moved to the update-notifier-kde package.
It's included in main and should be included by default with the Intrepid beta1
release. (See bug 260484)
Until then you can install it manually.

Hi,
I've got the same problem with an up-to-date Hardy Kubuntu. I remember
having no problem with Gutsy. From some research on the Net, it seems
the problem comes from dvd+rw-tools (since version 6), rather than k3b.
Sad it hadn't been fixed yet.
Currently :
