I have no digicam at hand right now, but what I can say is, that the screen
blacks out right after the message: 'starting Gnome Display Manager...' but
also some steps before, the 'OK' is missing. I also tried it on an external
screen. The log of the nongraphical boot was too fast for me...

It boots just as I would have expected it would have, however I just had
one problem which was my Nvidia display driver which did

in the meantime I found out that my problem really was a hardware issue.
The built in bluetooth adapter on my laptop must have died just around
the time I upgraded to Intrepid.
I re-installed Hardy and found that the bluetooth adapter did not work

if it's flash related, then i'm having the same problem with prism (greader)
when i read rss entries containing flash videos (youtube like) or sounds
(podcasts). It started a few months ago (nonfree flash 10) but i thought it was
isolated to prism. Maybe it's not.

The maintainers *really* don't seem to care. We're pushing for it for months
now. It's probably fixed in the next 8.10, but of course this is ridiculous.

1. Sadly yes, this bug is repeatable. I reproduced it 4-5 times. I'm now
running 2.26-5 kernel in intrepid and it works fine. I will go back to 2.6.27
and give you the result of the mount command (I did not notive anything myself

confirmed here, no scrolling in intrepid.
I have a section in xorg.conf with driver synaptics, but it appears this
