another display issue. However, in my case, the problem persists after
reboot, and even if I boot with kernel 2.6.24-19. Have previously added

reconnects after suspending. So this seems to be a problem of
NetworkManager starting a connection before network-manager-kde has been
started.

I think it has to do something with xorg.conf. In the new version of
Xorg, the file isn't read anymore. Something was told about it in the
new version.
Now, Hardy had this problem too, when you modified xorg.conf for
joystick-input. By default the joystick is enabled, but for using it as
tested Ubuntu 8.10 beta. Same Kernel, same Problem.

I have been experiencing a similar if not the same problem.
It seems as though pulseaudio isn't using the soundcard as a sink (where
audio goes into), its also worth noting that it still detects my
microphone and uses that as a source, which works fine.

this is using the kernel image from ubuntu?
to make you're connection available durring boot, you just have to copy
the kernel modules where they should go, eg:
mkdir -p /lib/modules/$(uname -s)/rtl8185
cp
I had this problem too. However, I suspected that the dvd was protected,
so I tried a dvd that I burnt myself, which worked.
I already had libdvdread3 installed, but I needed to install libdvdcss2
via Medibuntu:
