Additionally, I added a copy of the 'Amena' entry as Orange (Amena was
renamed a couple of years ago) so the old users keep finding Amena and
the new ones find the actual brand.

It seems like sheer coincidence that it crashes on shutdown. do_animate
is an absolutely horrific thing to call in a signal handler and we're
very lucky that it works at all.

I'm not sure which services I was asked about (didn't think to write it
down), but I run a host of services because I use my box for web
development work. I had assumed that the question would be asked to all
users and since it doesn't pass the "could my mother answer it" test, I

Could you please attach a /var/log/Xorg.0.log that causes the problem?
I wonder if it is the content of the file, control characters for instance, that
is causing the issue.

Right now, its stuck at hal capabilities and the tablets special 1:n
mapping between the kernel device and X device. One device from kernel
end needs to be presented to X as at least styus and eraser + some more
devices depending on what model you have. Hal cant do that. there might
