boot and search for 'ntp.' That will show you the ntpd and ntpdate
calls--easily showing if multiple attempts are happening. You can also
see if ntpd is making associations, look to see if interfaces are up, if
dhcp addresses

The package doesn't work for me. I upgraded from PPA, rebooted, and
still my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 won't mount. Now the camera is found
as USB reader or USB disk (don't know the exact translation) but

I don't think this is a Nautilus bug, but more likely an issue with your
setup with regards to your Personal Folder and EncFS integration.
Nautilus does not ask for passwords except mounting volumes. Someone
more familiar with your setup and EncFS should be able to help.

I got it working.
I changed the WPA-key in my router.
After that everything worked fine.
I have no clue why it did not work with the old one. I more than triple checked
