Yeah, I don't have this problem anymore. Last time when I installed
Intrepid from usb-creator it looked like the naming of all my devices
were switched around and I couldn't mount usb disks as a result (didn't
try CD's).

I was having random hard locks too and linux-backports-
modules-2.6.27-7-generic version 2.6.27-7.4 fixed it for me and made my
wireless connection a lot more reliable.
But after I upgraded to version 2.6.27-7.6 from intrepid proposed the
wireless was completely disabled and I had to revert back

Hello,
I have a similar effect, where instead of the clear graphics I see graphics
interlaced with red or green patches/stripes.
This is already from the login screen.
I have actually got a screenshot where it seems to show up as well... Which is
strange, as the lines move, even in the

Playing a video on a 600 MHz thin client:

Pulseaudio is useful, it makes streaming sound through network possible, and my
LTSP clients are slow, but 63% CPU?
Xorg needed much less than that to display the video...

I have totem 2.24.3 and GStreamer 0.10.21. I also have timidity and
freepats. When I try to play a MIDI file on totem it just says: Could
not determine type of stream.
So what do I need to do, if I want to play .mid-files on Totem?
