So, I have back in rescue mode and do all possible updates.

I can't reproduce this issue. Here's what I've done:
- Installed Hardy
- Disabled -updates and -security in /etc/apt/sources.list
- sudo apt-get install mysql-server-5.0
- Directory /etc/mysql/conf.d exists with old_passwords.cnf in it
- Enabled -updates and -security in /etc/apt/sources.list

As reqeuested I'll attach lspci output. Meanwhile I found a way to use
my system simply putting option NoDRI in xorg.conf: no signal message

It appears to me the Kubuntu additions got moved from -scripts to pkg-
kde-tools, or rather copied. I will have to talk to Jonathan Riddell to

I'm slightly confused here. Does this bug only affect 1.3x releases of
transmission? If that is the case, then the SRU needs to be targetted at
Intrepid (which has 1.34), instead of Hardy. Hardy is still on 1.06, and

Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately I can't just upgrade my development
machine at work just to test the new X drivers. We are developing
against LTS for a reason. I've added the lspci output for reference if
it ever gets looked at again.

Hi All,
Really this the solution? :) I have to use rdesktop to work and it really
uncomfortable to kill process and try again. I found that if I turn off the
moving actions on the last tab It works fine, so maybe this is another
workaround. But on a difficult screen I miss this function too...
