No it doesn't work. For me it is not a network issue, but rather a application
issue. If I click on the profile in the menu, nothing is appening :
if I'm under a dhcp ethernet profile, and trying to change the configuration to
a static one, knetworkmanager is simply staying on the same profile..
This is not a bug. The calendar is a GTK+ widget. Since GTK+ 2.0 it is
no more possible to fix the first day of week (from the application).
If you want to change the first day of week you need to change your
locale setting.

I had encountered this bug in the 8.10 alpha releases. Since then I switched to
