I see that in Windows XP 64 bit this driver works in WOW64 modality
(compatible 32-bit) using driver in root directory of file attache to

In the upstream bug report it indicates that this issue would be
resolved by revving the x11 protocol. Presumably something in the
protocol limits the data size to one byte, and would need to be changed

I experienced more or less the same redraw issues, on an up-to-date
Intrepid AMD64 install with a GeForce 8200. The failures to redraw
window contents occur only with desktop-effects turned on, and mostly in
Firefox but sometimes also in other applications. I tried both the

I can add another data point for the FramebufferCompression Off fix.
I have a Mac Mini. 8.10 is the first release to come even close to
being able to drive a display from it. I've been experiencing screen

I have an R61i, and adding options thinkpad_acpi brightness_enable=1
to /etc/modprobe.d/options solved my problem. What confuses me is that

Hi, this is still an issue in 8.10, but as C. Watson said, sudo setupcon
fixes the problem, the unique problem is that I need to run sudo
setupcon each time I boot Ubuntu.
