a) Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu.
I wouldn't recommend doing it, as you need to uninstall ubuntu-desktop
to update.. but then when you try reinstalling you'll fail. The main

kde overcomes this problem by adding '_#' to the usergroup in case it
allready exists. (ie 'admin_1').
The same problem would btw arrise as soon as you add a new user with any
name where a group with this name (gui1) already exists. So in any
case gnome shoul first check, if the GUI allready

Ok, now syncropated works in Intrepid - got the update from -proposed.
However it fails to recognize removable devices :(

If a network-manager bug report is about not being able to connect the title or
summary should be in the format:
[CHIPSET] cannot connect to (ENCRYPT_METHOD)
where the CHIPSET is the wireless driver used and ENCRYPT_METHOD is the

I have the latest packages from the lauchpad repository, and it works

I just noticed that the Teredo tunnel doesn't get brought up
automatically when using wireless networking, perhaps because the
network isn't available when the daemon starts. Restarting it manually
(using the init script) makes the tunnel available. Miredo should
somehow find out when the network
