The patch you mentioned I have applied (bug 335116).
I have printed to an HP LaserJet 1020 without paper now and no 100% CPU
consumption at all.
Seems that you got the paperless office to work correctly now :-)
Note that your patch for bug 335116 is applied to my copy of HPLIP.

I notice that the part of the fix for this bug in the X server has now
made it into Jaunty (xserver-xorg-core 1.6.0) but the part that needs to
go into evdev has not, because it's been applied to the evdev 2.2
branch, and Jaunty currently has 2.1.1.

Mobile Broadband configuration wizard does not fit on 600px vertical resolution

Also, here is the output of gconftool:
$ gconftool -g /desktop/gnome/font_rendering/dpi
96
Therefore I take it that it means the DPI is set correctly to 96dpi.
Despite this, the mobile broadband setup wizard doesn't fit the EeePC's
600px vertical resolution.
** Changed in: libmbca (Ubuntu)
I already have one tester on it with good results, only problem he had was
my documentation (or lack there of) didnt explain the syntax of the command
well (and by well I mean at all).
