I knew that my card was no longer supported by fglrx in 9.04. However, I
went ahead and tried to upgrade from 8.10 to 9.04a6 anyway to see what
would happen (it was not on my main computer). The installer correctly
identified that my card was not supported by the new fglrx driver. I
assumed
I too have had this problem with nvidia 177 on intrepid with kde4.2.
Disabling usplash in grub fixes the problem.

It seems that it is sufficient for gpgme to know the path of where it should
find gpgconf, just as with the gpg and gpgsm binaries. Simply adding
--with-gpgconf=/usr/bin/gpgconf to its configure options makes it work for me.

I fact Qt 4.5 is too unstable. Some programs are hard-to-use. A lot of
problems were caused by Gtk+ theme (e.g.: #298781), for example with
rendering widgets and text. Another example: QDevelop started to work
very slowly (the same version on the same computer) after upgrade

TJ: the problem is that the driver know about the wireless button (it is
mapped correctly), but somehow it does not work, which seems to me to be
a bug in wistron_btns. wistron_btns does have explicit support for my
model: Prestigio 157 is identical to aopen 1557 (OEM name). This

Miracle !!! It works ... but only solution is few restarts and that is odd.
I took the /etc/evtouch/config and manualy editted MAXX and MAXY to number I
found in calibration (me 4094/4072) and all other parameters I gave =0. After
restart it works perfectly, include edges where innacuracy is
everything works here now. are others still experiencing this or should
i close this bug?

I think this should be also closed as won't fix, since it cannot be fixed since
the laptop is impossible to recognize (which is probably a hardware fault).

change 'acerhk' to use 'autowlan=1' by default
There is another way to change the parameter?
