gnome-brightness-applet changes brightness correctly, but when
brightness is changed to levels 3-4-5-6, brightness blinks several times
and applet causes near 40% constant cpu load (about 80% on single cpu

This is happening on non-obscure hardware as well now. Just installed
the beta on a Dell 1420n and experience the same effects. 'killall
nautilus' takes care of it, but there has to be a better way.

Some further update on this problem. Resume fails even if the notebook
is not docked at all (contrary to my previous comment). But
suspend/resume works fine (even networking with network manager is up)
when I use pm-suspend from the terminal. The downside with this method
is that the KDE session

This append with zd1211 module loaded (used by my wireless dongle).
The computer can go to sleep and resume without the dongle but won't go
to sleep with the dongle plugged in.
This bug is a duplicate of Bug #274734 but it add files automatically
repported by apport.

i'm also having this problem. it's not really reproducable, sometimes
suspend/resume works fine several times in a row, but then it fails again. i
can't reconize a pattern, but maybe it's dependendent on the way (closing the

Ran the Resume stress test from checkbox 0.7. Tried the first test,
went into sleep without problems but on wakeup it only showed black
screen. Had to poweroff then. I've now tested it five times, every time
the same result.
