I don't use Synergy, however I hit the same problem (left and down arrow
don't repeat) yesterday after upgrade from intrepid to jaunty.
This is dual-seat amd-64 machine, but the problem remains after
disconnecting second keyboard and starting only the fist X server.
Maybe it's related to the keyb

Trying ubuntu sugar packages, gave an error. The reason for that error is as
told at http://dev.sugarlabs.org/ticket/729#comment:3 :
"Looks like the Ubuntu package python-hulahop still contains Python 2.5
modules, but Python 2.6 is default in Jaunty. => upstream bug."

On Kubuntu Jaunty 9.04, my laptop freezes after I try to logout. My KDE
session ends, but I never get the KDM login screen and the system
freezes. Even toggling num-lock does not work. I need to poweroff and
then poweron the laptop.
Steps to reproduce:
1.
I'm using an Aspire One netbook and have a really bad performance with
Jaunty. The problem is that the ondemand governor does not react by
increaing clock speed e.g., when watching a flash movie. The flash movie
works find if I change to the performance governor, but with ondemand
its unwatchable.
Ok, if it's fixed with the official version, i'm closing here.
